Since the Sprint HTC Hero is missing a proximity sensor, this uses the light sensor to turn your screen off while during a call and turn it back on after you remove it from your face. NOTE: The sensor needs a resonable amount of light to work, due to hardware. Also make sure Auto backlighting is enabled!
