The Weather Channel provides a free app on the Android Market that displays current weather where you live. You can monitor weather conditions in real time across multiple locations and receive up to date severe weather alerts. This is a must have app for those of you who live in an area of the country with unpredictable weather.
You can download this here on the Market.
The Weather Channel app provides a display of your local weather, that can be accessed from the application in the app menu on your phone, or can be placed on your home screen in a large (2x2) or small widget (1x1). The widgets display a picture of current weather conditions along with the temperature for your current location (when GPS is enabled). Simply touch the widget and the opened app will provide you with the current location, temperature, weather conditions, date, wind-chill, and other weather data.
The Weather Channel app has a menu at the top of the screen that provides selections for hourly, 36 hour, and 10 day forecasts for your selected city. One particularly convenient option provided in this app is the ability to monitor weather in multiple locations. To change your displayed location, simply press the menu button on your phone and select Add New. This will take you to a screen of all your selected cities, as displayed below.
