BBC News is the go to source for comprehensive news from around the world. The BBC News app provides you with current stories from areas around the world that interest you. You can view your news in a feed, in full articles, in a widget or through the application. BBC continues to lead the world in news with the biggest stories from around the globe. You can download this here on the Market.
BBC News provides world news in two primary categories on the home screen. You can choose from Most Popular news which provides a list of the most read stories from the day, or select from 17 separate feeds. The news is provided in brief captions that can be expended into full articles by touching the story you are interested in. When you long press a story the app will provide you the option of saving the story to your notebook. When you press the Feeds button you will enter a listing of 17 subjects as seen above right and below.
You can take your own notes on the articles you read by installing 3banana Notes, which can then be activated by pressing the menu button in the BBC News app. BBC News app provides a small widget that can be activated by long pressing your home screen and selecting BBC. The widget will provide you with the current most popular story and will update several times a day.
BBC News app is very straightforward and its simplistic form makes viewing news stories that interest you very easy to do. I recommend this application for news buffs, you wont find many fluff stories in this app.
