Fantasy LockScreen is a widget that provides you the ability to switch from locked to unlocked mode on your phone with the touch of a finger. Although at first appearance this app seems a little corny with its large wooden door that looks like it came from the movie Shrek, it is actually very useful. The door operates in two modes, open and closed. When the door is closed as seen above, your phone will require unlocking by inputting your pass code pattern, when turning the phone on from standby. The above images show the corresponding relationship between the closed door and the method of access required.

When the door is open as seen above the lock screen is disabled and you are only required to swipe your hand from left to right over the lock icon to open your phone. The widget provided for Fantasy LockScreen is the same size as the app icons that are installed on your home screen, making the Fantasy LockScreen app easy to fit into your home screen.

After installing Fantasy LockScreen you will notice that it does not show up in the app menu of your phone. This is because Fantasy LockScreen only functions as a widget. To install the app, long press your home screen and select Fantasy LockScreen from the menu as seen above.

One word of advice before using Fantasy LockScreen is to be sure that you remember your pass code pattern before starting the widget.

Although the Fantasy LockScreen widget is not the most aesthetically pleasing  of designs, it provides a very useful function that I recommend having readily available on your phone. This app provides you the ability to gain easy access to your phone when you need it and secure your phone when you don't.
