Air Control puts you in the seat of an air traffic controller as you attempt to guide large planes, small planes and helicopters on safe trajectories for landing. Air Control is a game that requires focus, planning and good judgement to prevent the aircraft from crashing into each other. This is a touch to play game that is involving, yet simple to play.

You can download this on the Market here.

I will be reviewing the free ad enabled version of Air Control today, which has two levels of difficulty "Wannabe Pilot" and "Private". Game play is diverse enough in possible scenarios of flight, that these two levels will provide you a great first impression of the game. The main menu lets you choose the map you would like to play, allowing you to pick between two airports with different landing paths. The two maps provided in the free version are "Green Fields" which is the intro airport, and "Desert River" which has an increased level of difficulty.

Once you have selected the airport you will be managing, the flights will begin to enter your screen. When planes are entering from off screen you will first see a red exclamation point, indicating where the plane is coming from.  Next, the planes and helicopters will begin to enter your airspace.

The small planes are blue in color and must land on the short runway. The large aircraft are red and land on the largest runway. The final type of aircraft you must safely guide in are, yellow helicopters which land on the H shaped heliport. The point of the game is for you to safely guide all of these various aircraft to the proper runway, without them colliding.
