We have all heard about the Live Wallpapers available for Android 2.1. Now you can have an active background with IamascopeLE which simulates a moving kaleidoscope background, with your menu functions in the foreground. This is a neat app that keeps your phone in motion, yet accessible.

You can find IamascopeLE on the Market here.

When you first open the app you will see a kaleidoscope image moving in your screen. The rendering is bright and clear with smooth motion. In the image you see above, the small globe circles the larger sphere and the entire image changes colors. When you press the menu button on your phone you will see a menu providing you with additional settings. IamascopeLE lets you change the Pattern, Shape, Size and # of pcs of the image you see.

When you press the "Shape" button you will see the options of rendering a Ball, Star, Star 2, Heart or Thorn. Once the program is running you will see a selection under the main menu that says, "Home Mode". When you press this button the main functions of your home screen will appear in a bar at the top of your screen. These include the browser, contacts, maps and your phone. On the very bottom of your screen you will find an arrow that will expand the screen containing all of the apps on your phone. While you are doing all of this, the app is running in the background of your screen creating the appearance that your phone has live wallpaper.

The third option you have with this app is to alter the pattern, in the background of the object you have selected to run on your screen. Below you can see the menu with all 6 options for pattern selections along side an example. Each of the pattern selections will provide a completely different look to your live moving background.
