Splat! Bugs II is some good old fashioned fun for squishing bugs. It is a little cleaner and a bit more ethical to do it on your phone.

Splat is has a number of different options you can use to play. Easy is a good mode for the first couple of levels for kids then it does get a bit beyond their level.

The instructions are very simple, splat bugs running across the screen within the time limit, don't miss or you will break the glass.

There is a timer on the top of the screen which shows you have many bugs you have to do to get through the level. You can hit more than one bug in a splat and get a splat massacre for extra points. If you try to splat and miss you will break the glass. 3 glass breaks and the game is over, however if you clear the level the glass is reset. Also if you do not get the bugs in the time the game is over.

When the game is over you get your final score and an inspirational rank. I am 'a nobody' apparently because Splat told me so..

Conclusion

Its a decent game to kill some time and satisfy your squishing hunger for bugs so you no longer have to squish real bugs. When my daughter asks for 'bugs' this is what she wants...
