If you have not heard of Best Buy, then you are missing out on the greatest electronics store in the US. Welcome to Android, Best Buy! You can order your stuff here and drive to the store to pick it up; thereby avoiding lines. Will this app work on the next Black Friday is my question?! You can download this on the Market here. From the friendly assistant on the startup the store many of us go to buy our tvs, video games, computers and anything else you can plug in, is now on the Android phone.
The main screen is really simple, perform a search by item or SKU (unfortunately no barcode scanning yet) you can filter by category with the Search All Items dropdown, you also can see any featured offers going on in the store, right now there is only one but this is a new application as of the time of writing. I get the sense they are testing the waters before they saturate the store with deals. I performed a search for the word 'PlayStation' and this is what I found; a ton of hits for games and the console. You7 can just keep scrolling till you find what you are looking for. My advice? Put more detail in your search, they sell way too much stuff... not like that is a bad thing Within the details for an item, you can view more detail about the product, check other customer reviews and look at related items. |
