Epocrates is now available for the Android OS! For you Medical Professionals or those who are interested in learning about medications this app is as good as it gets.

Epocrates is currently available in a Beta release for Android and includes only a couple of the categories available in the full version, which has not yet been released. This is an excellent app for those of you who work as medical professionals or are interested in learning about medication. Epocrates allows you to check for drug interactions, ID pills, reference medications, and search through medical tables on multiple subjects.
When using the Pill ID function you are able to search for specific medications by shape, color, score, coating, clarity and imprint. Through a process of visual identification and deduction you will be provided the name and a photograph of the drug you are searching for.
The section labeled Dug Reference will provide you with information pertaining to the use of medications for categories of medications including Anesthesia, Asthma, Dental, Pulmonary and more. This reference provides dosing instructions, warnings and cautions, adverse reactions, Interactions, Safety and Monitoring, Pharmacology, pricing and pill pictures.
