We aren't even a full week into the Year of the Android and already there are multiple signs of the progress to be made and markets to be conquered. Gizmodo posted a few pictures of appliances that will be on display at CES 2010 and believe it or not they come pre-loaded with Android.

Yesterday we talked about the world of Android tablets pre-CES, covering the likes of the Camangi Webstation, Archos 5, and more. Now, today comes news that Embedded Semi Conductor Manufacturer Freescale has an Android tablet that is set to debut at CES. With Google's Jan. 5th Android press conference looming, I thought we would go over what we know now about the Nexus One. The anticipation is mounting as the story of the rumored iPhone challenger Nexus One slowly builds into a reality. From what we know now, this will be an Android phone unlike any other. Google has been rumored to have taken the lead in designing both the hardware and software of the HTC manufactured phone. The Nexus One is likely to be optimized for use with Google software applications. The release has been very secretive and an invite only list of guests are scheduled to meet at Google's home base, in California on Jan. 5th at 10am PT for the “possible” reveal.
