Page 1 of 2 So the Nexus One came in the mail today. I didn't want to cover the unboxing, there are too many of those videos out there. I instead wanted to focus on a few of the very cool things the nexus one and Android 2.1 have built in which I found very cool.
First off lets touch on Voice to Text entry and then we can head into some of the other features;
Obviously a very cool feature, however the question I have is, 'would it still be considered driving while texting if I voice texted someone on my phone and sent it?' This would tend to muddy the waters of the current legal debate that is going on in this nation around the driving while texting laws. That said my guess would be that the defense may hold up in court with the right judge however it does raise alot of questions. UPDATE : If you want a quick way to get to voice texting, just swipe your finger left to right across the middle of the keyboard on your phone! Really easy way to start speaking to your phone.
The second set of features I wanted to show off are the options a user can perform from the context menu on the home screen. I wont go into too much detail on most of these, but we need to highlight the live wallpaper feature. Shortcuts
